This seller has this jacket listed for a very low price compared to other sellers on Amazon, but the jacket is 100% legitimate. I commute daily about 45 miles to work and back wearing this jacket. I have owned it for about a month now and overall I love the jacket. I am new to riding so I wanted something with good protection at a good price, and this foots the bill great.Protection: This jacket has elbow and shoulder armor that is CE rated, and has back armor that is not CE rated. I personally chose to not upgrade the back armor due to my riding style and usual speeds. I would recommend purchasing a compatible back armor piece if you plan on riding at highway speeds a lot.Comfort: This jacket is not relaxed enough to wear off the bike, and not to mention that it doesn't fit in well in a crowd. Wearing a backpack like I do with this jacket can be a pain sometimes, as it's hard to move around enough to don and remove the pack. The back armor can make wearing a pack uncomfortable. I have been riding in pretty cold weather, and I usually have to wear another jacket or sweater underneath this leather jacket. It cuts wind very well, but is designed for summer, spring, and fall riding. I would not recommend wearing this jacket riding in the winter.CONS: My only complaints about this jacket are the flexibility (such as when trying to put on or remove a backpack) and the arm snaps that keep coming undone on their own for some reason. I have also noticed the white lettering on the chest starting to peel off after only a month of wearing it.Love my Rocket! Comfortable, feels good in cool weather or medium hot rides. It looks REALLY good, and it is my favorite "go to" jacket if I'm feeling as if I want more visibility (I have the black and yellow). Good fit; sufficient pockets with easy access. Five stars! (Left off any opinion on water resistance as I stay away from riding in the rain if at all possible and so far have been able to avoid it).Love the fit, quality, and look. I'm impressed. The benefit and look of leather where you need it without being so heavy overall. Not a super hot summer jacket or cold winter as I don't think you can fit a bulky sweatshirt underneath. Not rain-proof either, but if you're a fair-weather rider like me then its perfect.Ventilation is not so bad, the arm and back zippers flow air through the armpits very well.I wear an XL with a 38 waist and the size 46 fits perfect. The arms are slightly on the long side but that's OK since all other jackets I've had pull up on the sleeves if you're in the tucked position. My only small gripes:-where the Velcro adjusters on the waist are, there should be elastic on the side of the jacket. The leather just bunches up there.-the reflective piping on the jacket is very minimal and subdued, this is not a high-viz jacket by any means.-the front zipper gets caught on the leather portion of the chest area, I'm sure this will work more freely with more use.UPDATE: i was able to get the sleeves shortened and it fits perfect! I’ve noticed its very breathable so, its not so great when its 40 degrees and below , but 450 degrees and up, its perfect! Its a good combination of leather and textile.I absolutely love this jacket. Its flexible and comfortable and fitting all at the same time. I got a size 42 and im 5’6 and 170 pounds. The only drawback is this jacket is not short arm friendly. I attached a photo. I will try and see if i can get the sleeves professionally hemmed or something. Cause its really the only drawback and would love to keep the jacket. Otherwise i will have to return it.This jacket is pure quality. The leather is really thick, and the yellow is very bright. There is a vent zipper on the bicep of each sleeve and two vent zippers on the back along the seam. I would have rated it higher if the taper buttons stayed snapped on the tightest setting. I can not attest to how much air flows through this jacket as I have not had a chance to ride with it yet. I will update you on this later. I bought the size 48 because it is half price than the other sizes and luckily it fits quite well. I am 240 pounds with very wide shoulders and a barrel chest that measures 48. So in my opinion it fits true to size. Will be buying more Joe Rocket gear in the future. Highly recommended! This is my third Joe Rocket jacket and the price here was less than Revzilla for a size 44. What I like most was the fact that it does move a fair amount of Air and the fit was spot on. So it will be my go to jacket most of the time. I have several other jackets. I've been riding motorcycles for the better part of the last half century. This one fits better than any of the others. I do wish they still offered the different colors available a coupe of years ago. I would have preferred the black & white version.Great product, but the seller at Throttle City Cycles is a joke. The jacket I got had broken strap and the seller refused to deal with it. I don't recommend doing business with Throttle City Cycles. This was gift from my wonderful wife. Overall it's ok. It's the velcro closures on the front zipper can't be opened with gloves on. The name lettering "Joe Rocket" is peeling off after a few months of use. It's not too hot for Summer. It's not heavy enough for cold weather - FYI. I hope the 'armor' is protective but, I don't want to do what it takes to find out.
