Plan to use for motorcycle rides.Pro: 1. thick leather that should be able to protect from abrasion. 2. zipper for quick on and off. 3. High sole boots gives a few extra centimeters to help for reaching the floor (I have a mp3 maxi scooter with fat seat) 4. Very hard toe caps. Excellent for protection.Con: 1. Not as easy to get on and off as other zipper boots. 2. No padding what so ever. Look like cheaply built by the shop without proper equipment. Just a tiny bump on the side against the table and I could feel the pain on my ankle. Definitely not safe for riding. My work shoes have the better cushion than these boots. 3. Not waterproof (expected since it not specified in description). 4. Rubber soles make marks on my hardwood floor. 5. The boot is heavy and unstable (maybe because of the extra high sole). Lost balance and twisted ankle at the stop sign.Conclusion. I am not using for riding anymore. The boots are usable so I am not returning since is the price is cheap and it does have any serious issues. I will be using it as work boots and get myself another set of boots for riding. I will not buy again. Any decent tactical boots pair is more comfortable and protected than this boots set.Only had them for a few days. I've rubbed some leather conditioner on them a couple times and they look to be very well made. Made a dumb mistake and laced and tied them before snapping the first time, don't try that hehe. They feel very comfortable, not tight at all around my foot. Holding off a five star until I see how they take some serious riding. My only con I can think of is the "X" emblem on the snap is pretty sharp and pointy and you have to be aware of where that sucker is when you zip.Few weeks now and still very happy with these. There is a definite dent on the shifter toe though.I searched several stores trying on pair after pair of expensive, uncomfortable boots looking for anything I could wear and finding NOTHING. Out of desperation I ordered these thinking " They can't be any worse than all the crap I've looked at, I just hope they fit." Not only do they fit, They are some of the best boots I've ever owned. Size is dead on and they seem like they will be very easy to break in. Pretty comfortable right out of the box. I'm pretty picky about boots and I couldn't be more pleased about this purchase. HIGHLY RECOMENDED !!! Purchased for riding.Very comfortable riding boots especially with what feel like memory foam or equivalent insoles. No insulation with these boots which are good for warm days, but still offer wind breaking leather warmth on those chilly morning rides. I ordered my size and they fit perfect. very good workmanship and good leather.Great shoe, wellmade , easy to put on or, take off because it has a zipper pm the side, I would recommend.Tough, durable. Husband loves them. Great boots to go riding in. He can't wait for the weather to warm up.
