I mean it's like a heated car seat if your not like outside in the real cold. Otherwise where a heavier cost over it to get the full warmth. It is effective and a good quality hoody but I've had it just long enough to think I could have spent the money better. Probably a good value at half the price or if you got free battery and charger. Haven't bought the 18 volt adapter and don't think I will be but that may make it alot warmer.
